StreamSTEP at CSP 2025
Our partner, Fabiola Tovar from CIRCE, delivered a presentation on 'Hydrogen Combustion in Conventional Industrial Furnaces' — work that has already been progressing within the StreamSTEP project — at the 10th International Conference on Combustion Science and Processes, held from 8–10 April in Barcelona, Spain.
The presentation highlighted CIRCE’s preparatory work on adapting their industrial-scale flexible furnace for oxy-combustion, including early start-up activities and testing with different fuels to ensure the equipment is ready for full project operations. These efforts have already produced promising preliminary results that pave the way for the next steps in the StreamSTEP project.

About the Conference:
The 10th International Conference on Combustion Science and Processes (CSP 2025) aims to become the leading annual conference in fields related to combustion science and processes. The goal of this combustion conference 2025 was to gather scholars from all over the world to present advances in the relevant fields and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This combustion conference also provided an ideal environment to develop new collaborations and meet experts on the fundamentals, applications, and products of the mentioned fields.
