Our experts meet to drive meaningful progress on the oil & gas pilot

Our StreamSTEP experts working on the development of the High Temperature Heat Pump met on October 8, 2026 in Madrid to discuss progress on the oil and gas pilot and set the tone for what’s to come in the next term.

The full-day meeting brought experts together from REPSOL, RANK, and the University of Seville, providing an opportunity to assess work carried out so far, and to exchange expertise concerning the challenges associated with the project's ambitious technical objectives. The discussions also helped to establish a shared understanding of priorities and the actions needed to move the pilot forward.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with partners expressing satisfaction with the current progress and outcomes. The exchange reinforced the strong collaboration among the three teams and their shared commitment to advancing the development of the High-Temperature Heat Pump.
