2nd StreamSTEP Symposium at SEEP Conference
For the second consecutive year, the StreamSTEP project proudly hosted the StreamSTEP Symposium as part of the 18th Sustainable Energy & Environmental Protection (SEEP) Conference, held from 20–23 July 2026 at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy.
The symposium brought together StreamSTEP partners to showcase the project's latest achievements, innovative technologies, and research progress through a series of keynote speeches and technical presentations. It also provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among researchers, industry representatives, and energy experts committed to advancing sustainable industrial heat management.
Chaired by Dr. Sarina Bao (SINTEF), the StreamSTEP Symposium focused on optimising sustainable thermal energy systems for energy-intensive industries. Discussions highlighted cutting-edge solutions in waste heat recovery, high-temperature heat pumps, advanced heat exchangers, process automation, life cycle assessment, and intelligent industrial systems, demonstrating how the project is contributing to the decarbonisation and energy efficiency of European industry.
